Finally, after nearly a year since its inception, I am able to share my promotional film created for Elaine Rohde Photography! Elaine is based out of my home town of Cape Girardeau MO. When this project was first proposed I still lived in Cape. I don’t think anyone was expecting it to take this long to get done! But I got married and relocated, then we had several weather delays! But now its done and I couldn’t be happier with what we did together!

It’s been a lot of fun working with them over the last several weeks and I’m excited to finally reveal part one of their package, the Save The Date!

Well its done. It took a lot of thought. It took a lot of planning. It also took a lot of sneaky and clever lying to pull off. And that was my favorite part. It was like pulling a prank on my roommate, or performing live theatre. I’m talking about the day that I bought an engagement ring practically right in front of my girlfriend, and then convinced her that the sale price was misquoted and I wasn’t able to make the purchase. I wasn’t going to ruin the surprise proposal by letting her think I had a ring waiting for her, so I put on my best sad face and sold her a crushing story. I spent the next month after that day continuing to gingerly plant the idea that I did not have a ring hidden in my apartment waiting for her. With her birthday coming up on March 27th, I offered her a video shoot as my gift…The rest is history.
